Do you know what we are REALLY celebrating when we engage in Christmas traditions? It's not JUST about the BIRTH of a baby. Yes. The Christ Child had to be born into this world. But His Birth was only the beginning. His entrance into the world was important. What followed was dependent on the miracle of His Birth. But the miracle did not stop at His birth, as so many do not realize.
The innocent blood of that Little Lamb born in Bethlehem would change the course of Mankind, the History of Planet Earth, and in fact mankind's DNA,* for those who choose to accept His Perfect Sacrifice. It was the blood of God HIMSELF that coursed through EMMANUEL's veins. It was the blood of God that ran down the cross's jagged wood. And the blood of God that soaked the ground below the broken feet of our Savior. Wow! Matthew 1:23 1 Peter 1:9
I was praying "in the Spirit" one early morning in November. In my prayer language I kept hearing the phrase, "Es Deo Sangre" or "Es Theo Sangre" - not sure which. But when I prayed for the interpretation, what I received in my spirit was: "Is God's Blood". I didn't understand why I was praying about that unless I was actually praying for the protection of the Blood of Jesus over myself, my family or my situation. Just as the Blood of The Lamb protected Israel when applied to the doorposts of their homes, Jesus' Blood has been applied to the "Doorposts" of my heart.

But it caused me to pray and think further.
From the time I was a toddler, I knew about Jesus. Even prayed to Him, and to God the Father, in THE NAME of JESUS, as taught in Baptist Churches, and also other Biblical institutions.
I accepted Christ as my "Personal Saviour" at the age of five. But it wasn't until 2005 that I had the stunning revelation that JESUS IS GOD! I had always seen Jesus as some kind of undergod, subordinate or inferior to God the Father, as God's Son.
But being an equal part of the Trinity, Jesus really IS God. Just like the Holy Spirit IS God. They are different facets of God's whole personality. Sort of like water, ice and steam. They are all water - but in different forms.
Jesus was an incarnation of God's Spirit, (within earthly boundaries), His skin. He was a habitation of God's Spirit inside an earthly, physical body. The exact representation of the Father, if the Father Himself had been an "Earthling".
He was the means by which God Almighty chose to both reveal God The Father to Mankind, but also the means by which He would also SAVE HUMANITY.
"Who being the brightness of His glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of HIS PERSON and upholding ALL THINGS by the Word of His Power, when He had BY HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3 KJV
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD."
"And the Word WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

Let me be perfectly clear. He WAS the product of a VIRGIN BIRTH. THIS DOES AND CAN APPEAR IN NATURE. Even if virgin birth did not appear in nature, because God's Word says Mary was a virgin, we must believe God's Word.The Bible is the final say on everything!

named Nazareth. To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, 'Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."...

The definition of "thing" used in this context is the Greek Word "Hagios" which means "most Holy thing", "a saint". But its usage appears frequently in scripture as: Holy, Saints, Holy One.
In Thayer's Greek Lexicon it translates as "properly reverend", "worthy of veneration". "Used of things on account of their connection to God which possess a certain distinction and claim for reverence".

But we also have SCIENTIFIC PROOF of such a possibility. Parthenogenesis is the scientific term for conception of a child without fertilization by a male of the species. Female wasps, fish, birds, and lizards have been known to give birth without having sex.

The article goes on to say: " An egg will only start dividing once it senses a spike in cellular calcium. This normally occurs as a result of a sperm's entry during fertilization. But if the egg happens to sense a spontaneous calcium spike, it will start reacting as if it's been fertilized...In the lab, scientists can coax unfertilized eggs into beginning the post-fertilization process. by simply injecting them with calcium."
Back in the Days before Noah, and the great flood which cleansed the entire Earth of its inhabitants, there was a group of angelic spirit beings, (which most Christians would label "fallen angels" or "demons".) These spirit beings lusted after earthly women when they saw how beautiful they were. The Beings having "fallen from heaven", had sex with the Earth women, who bore them children.
Their offspring are said by both the Bible and by Greek and Roman mythology, to have been the heroes and warriors of old, such as Hercules, Achilles, Nimrod, and others whose reputations live today. They were half-men, half-gods.
"That the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were fair, and they took them wives of all which they chose." Gen. 6:2 KJV
"There were giants in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children unto them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." Genesis 6:4 KJV
Now whether those fallen angels had human-like, physical bodies, I cannot say. The phrase "son of god" in Jesus Christ's case, meant a spiritual being in a fleshly body (whose origin was from God). So perhaps these beings found some way to cloak themselves in flesh, therefore also obtaining the title, "sons of God".
But many times in scripture, angels become visible to men and women, taking on an appearance similar to humans. In that form, they are able to interact with the physical world as though their ephemeral, angelic bodies could make physical contact with earthly objects.
The 1989 movie "City of Angels" starring Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan, is a romanticized version of a very real phenomenon.

I wouldn't encourage anyone to open up themselves to this dangerous physical door into the spiritual realm. The unromantic reality, is that it involves occult practices that curse one's family line. I won't go into the accounts of succubi and incubi, but suffice it to say that these practices are actually witchcraft, and should be avoided at all costs!
Incubi - Spirits To Be Avoided at All Cost!
There is historical evidence found by archaeologists of extremely large, giant men, whose bones have been measured and photographed. Abraham Lincoln himself referred to the remnants of descendants of these giants, whose bones are said to remain within certain Indian burial mounds in America, as well as in Middle Eastern countries.
Essentially, what these evil, fallen angels did was to create conception receptacles in the earthly women's wombs to create progeny for themselves. Spirit beings don't normally have corporeal bodies. However, this was one way of creating for themselves human containers to carry their fallen angel spirits around in. It is a gross distortion and limited mimicry of what God Almighty did with Mary.
As always, the devil has a lesser copy of God's genuine supernatural abilities and events.
But Satan had intended to taint the Bloodline, so that there would be no pure Paschal Lamb to sacrifice on Calvary. Once again, as always, Lord God Almighty outsmarted the Evil One!

From the very time of the Garden of Eden, God promised that a Messiah would come through a woman.
"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed. It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (Genesis 3:15).
The devil could only harm the part of Jesus that was on the Earth, or symbolically connected to the ground - his "heel". That symbolizes the Son of God, often referred to as the Son of Man, (because the term focuses on Christ's humanity).
But the prophecy states that He would bruise Satan's head. If you are tromping around out in the woods, and meet a snake, where do you aim at to kill him? HIS HEAD OF COURSE! So this verse says even though the devil was able (only with permission) to work through the hearts of evil men to nail Jesus to the cross, it was God's plan ANYWAY! And it was how Jesus would actually crush the serpent's head.
Because after His death, He went down to the uttermost parts of Hell and wrenched the keys of Hell and Death out of the devil's hands. Then He Rose Again!

We have established that Jesus was born of a virgin. He was pure and holy - not tainted by any man nor any man's seed.
At the same time He was the "spitting image" of God The Father.

The Word of God says that the Holy Spirit OVERSHADOWED Mary, during Christ's conception. God made whatever changes were necessary in her egg cell to create His Only Begotten Son. And unblemished body, heart, mind and spirit. He was the ultimate and perfect sacrifice, for God's Spirit to inhabit, as he grew into the Son of God yet Son of Man that He was meant to be, in order to become THE LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH.
Leviticus 14:10, Lev. 23:18, Ezekiel 46:4
"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST His Son CLEANSETH us from all sin." 1 John 1:7
And when we accept Jesus/Yeshua as our Messiah, and become HIS CHILDREN, we are part of His Bloodline. * We have the spiritual imprint, the spiritual DNA of the most precious bloodline in the universe, the imprint of God Almighty Himself.
So this year when you sing the traditional Christmas carols we all know and love, be encouraged to know that Jesus Christ WAS born of a virgin. And the blood of Jesus (GOD INHABITING A HUMAN BODY), which washes our consciences pure through His Perfect Sacrifice, was truly the GIFT of God the Father to our fallen world. AND HE WILL COME AGAIN SOON!
"For He must remain in heaven until the time for the FINAL RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS, as God promised long ago through His holy prophets." NLT Acts 3:21
